• This Week’s Pick A Card Message

What advice does the Universe have for you this week?

Take a deep breath or two. Ground and center into your Soul. Ask your Spirit Guides to help you receive a message that is easy for you to understand, that helps you move forward in life… that is the best message for your highest and greatest good…

    Then pick a card…

    Pick your card

These cards are from the gorgeous and powerful Sacred Rebels Oracle, created by Alana Fairchild and Autumn Skye Morrison and published by Blue Angel Publications.

    Here is the reveal:

Sept.25 2019 Pick a card reveal. From the Sacred Rebels Oracle Deck.

    Left – Big Bold Vision

You know, you wouldn’t have been given that big, beautiful vision—that inkling of helping to change the world on a grand scale—if you weren’t the one to bring it to fruition. The vision that you’ve been given or you are just opening to is real. It is a call from the Divine to trust the inspiration you’ve been given and to make it a reality. Open up to your power, to the synchronicities that are guiding you forward, and to taking one step at a time to move in the direction of your goal. Do what you need to do to remove blockages. Call on your Spirit Guides and/or Ganesh to help you bust through those blocks so that you can successfully pursue your big bold vision.

    Center – Receiving

Take an honest look at your energy and how you are interacting with the world. How do you feel? Are you able to receive as much as you give? Are you feeling powerful and filled up or weak, exhausted, and overwhelmed?

Remember, there is no shame in actually needing to fill your own cup or to receive energy, love, support, and guidance. Instead of declining help, you can accept it graciously and be grateful for the energy that the Universe and people around you gladly give you! It is your right to be happy and healthy, to receive as much as you give. Remember that it is a flow, a cycle, and you are worthy of receiving, too.

    Right – Conscious Connections

Are you looking for a soul group to meet with or are you interested in repairing the relationships that mean the most to you, but have somehow fallen off the tracks? Now is the time to consciously work on healing your relationships with other people and also to be honest with yourself about whether or not the relationships you value are equal, balanced, and healthy. Either way, you can ask the Universe to help you align with the truth, to heal relationships that serve both parties, and to release those that are toxic or no longer serve everyone involved. This might be hard because you will have to be totally honest with yourself and the others in your circle, but it will be well worth the effort.

I hope the message you received today helps you move forward in your life.

  • Advice From A Tarot Travellor: Reading At Outdoor Events and Fairs

Terry Reed Martin and Tarodactyl started the Facebook group, Tarot Travellors, to chat about “doing tarot readings in mobile settings and public gigs,” according to Terry.

She recently shared a great post with a lot of tips and tricks for doing tarot readings at outdoor events.

Tips For Tarot Travellin And Outdoor Gigs

I have done mobile tarot for years. My thoughts are :

    • Wind and noise are not tarot friendly at outdoor gigs. Don’t face sun…its hot and blinding if outdoors. A canopy is a must.
    • Keep it simple…large draws can be time-consuming, and in my experience, most won’t remember all that info.
    • It can be exhausting…take a cushion, cough drops, and bottled water, plus snacks that won’t make you sleepy ie. Carbs.
    • Think about what your fee will be. If it’s too high, it might repel some.
    • Note what season it is and play to that.
    • Keep your stuff at a manageable size. It gets hard if it’s too heavy and you have to go a long distance to your assigned place.
    • Take a timer. 15 minutes is plenty unless you’re a seasoned reader and good at managing the public.
    • Ground yourself. Sage the area. State your affirmation, and take a deck you don’t work with personally—only with the public. A lot of use will tear up your deck and it will get ” dirty. “
    • Take a hand cleanser.
    • I bought a wagon to transport my small collapsible table.
    • Pack all tarot things in one bag.
    • A small ice chest is good to have. I freeze small bottles of water and they keep each other cold while thawing. 6-8 is usually enough. If you drink a lot, you pee a lot, so try to be near a bathroom. This is not only great for you, but also because there’s lots of traffic.
    • Don’t rent a spot that’s isolated.
    • I wear a diffuser necklace with essential oils like Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lavender, and Tea Tree to ward off colds and flu.
    • Take breaks; you’ll need to refresh.
    • Have fun. I love outdoor gigs and fairs, craft shows, etc. 💞

  • Launch Of The 7TAROT.COM Website

The launch of the 7TAROT.COM website

Whether used regularly or on an ad hoc basis, nowadays the tarot appeals more than ever to lovers of cartomancy and the divinatory arts. Good news! A specialized site now exists where they can make their own draws online. It is the work of Eva Delattre, a famous tarologist and philosopher by training.

A unique concept for the draw

Recently created, 7Tarot.com wants to establish itself as the reference website for all tarot lovers. It must be said that it has many arguments in its favor. The first? Completely free draws, which will allow everyone to get a more detailed understanding of their life path and shed new light on how they feel at the moment. As the world of online cartomancy is largely dominated by paid draws, this news can only be welcomed with open arms!

The quality of the reading is based on the experience and expertise of Eva Delattre, a clairvoyant and cartomancer for almost 30 years. Attracted by the divinatory arts since she was a teenager, Marie would now like the greatest possible number of people to experience the benefits of the tarot.  Her approach is inspired by the work of the 19th-century French mage, Edmond, considered in the field to have been the most successful searcher of his time. What’s special about Eva Delattre? A 10-card method allowing the user to participate in their own draw. It is very innovative because the tarologist appeals to the user’s subconscious, their current feelings and to their intuition.

However, to be able to read the future more clearly, a diversity of methods is always welcome. This is also why 7tarot.com offers internet users different approaches to the tarot. While some are directly inspired by Western traditions of the divinatory arts, others have their roots in the East or in ancient Egypt. This variety is very important: it will allow everyone to choose the draw that has the most meaning to them, according to their current needs and feelings. Is your mouth starting to water? Later on I’ll talk about some draws that I particularly liked!

    How does it work?

It’s very easy to understand how this divinatory tarot reference site works. The homepage clearly shows the 7 different draws offered by Eva Delattre. Each of them is accompanied by a short explanatory text, which will help users to choose the one that suits them best. To begin your experience you simply click on the link that interests you.

An attractive deck of virtual cards then appears. It is carefully shuffled, just as it would be during a “physical” session of cartomancy.  At each stage of the draw, you are told what you need to do. For a total immersion, just imagine that this is the voice of the tarologist speaking to you. The things you are asked to do are really very easy. For example, you will be asked to choose a certain number of cards from the deck and then to select the ones that you feel are the most compatible to you, or reject certain others. If you are already used to the world of the divinatory arts, the process shouldn’t seem confusing. At the end of the draw, you need to specify your gender to receive a free, personalized, interpretation of your draw.  The explanations are very well laid out and very complete. If you enjoyed the experience you have the opportunity of getting an even more detailed analysis by email. And, of course, you have the opportunity of making direct contact with Eva Delattre, who never hesitates to establish a special relationship with the visitors who ask for one, who she helps every day with her tarot cards.

    Why the number 7?

7 is a highly symbolic figure, regardless of the environment in which it is found. And this is equally its case in the world of the tarot. Associated with one of the major arcana, the Chariot, 7 is about making a new start, taking control of your life by putting aside the difficulties of the past. It is, therefore, a very positive card in the tarot, which announces ready success, luck and future travels. The Chariot on the card drawn by two horses and carries a crowned driver. It is the symbol of triumph, success, and self-control.  For the more curious among you, you should also know that 7 is the unification of the active and passive forms of power, the addition of the 3 belonging to the Empress and the 4 belonging to the Emperor. It’s a union that invokes successful progeny of these other 2 major arcana.

So the site’s name refers to all these positive values, the tarot being above all an activity whose priority is human beings.

    3 Example Draws Available

    Cupid’s Oracle

Whether you are single or in a couple, it will allow you to better understand the future of your love life and understand the vibrations that bind you to the one you love.

    The Oracle of the Moon

The Moon represents an individual’s unconscious. The Oracle of the Moon opens the doors of a new world, encouraging you to explore the riches of your subconscious. This draw encourages you to step closer to the world of dreams, the abstract and fantasy by giving the power to your subconscious.

    32-card draw

Personally, I’ve checked this site out and thought the reading I got was in-depth and gave me some concepts to think about in my life. I adore sites that allow people to get a free reading and give access to advice and guidance. They’re fun. I’ve used them myself plenty of times.

Full disclosure: this is a paid promotion. I will say, though, that I will not promote or support sites or services I haven’t used and/or don’t care for myself.

  • This Week’s Oracle Message 9/9/19

    Hello Everyone!

    Welcome to another beautiful week!

This week, I’ve used Ethony Dawn’s Awakened Soul Oracle deck for the Pick A Card reading.

Here are your options to choose from:

Choose an oracle card for your message this week!
    Kyanite, Labradorite, or Amethyst

Are you ready for the reveal?

    Here’s the video!

Prefer to read about the cards? No problemo! Here you go!

Kyanite – Silence. Sometimes life is too loud and busy. It’s time to take a step back, quiet your mind, and just sit in the silence. You never know what messages Spirit will have for you in that still, calm place. So take a step back and find a quiet place to meditate in silence and see what happens!

Labradorite – Treasure. Are you focused on the quest for gold, jewels, and expensive luxury? Sometimes the most valuable treasures you will ever get aren’t gold bars and big chunks of cash. Sometimes, the valuable things are time spent with family, trinkets you pick up in nature, thoughtful gestures from loved ones… Take a look at what you think is invaluable; see if you need a shift in perspective about what you value and what is truly treasure.

Amethyst – Knowledge. You might be entering a phase where you are ravenous for knowledge. I know that I, personally, go through times when I cannot learn enough about a topic that I am curious about. It looks like it is time for you to embrace your thirst for knowledge and dive right into your studies. You’ll be able to gain and absorb a lot of knowledge and insight at the moment.

What do you think? Did the card you chose fit your situation? Feel free to comment below about which card you got and what you think about its message!

  • How To Read Coffee Grounds

Turn your morning cuppa into connection with the Divine!
Turn your morning cuppa into a conversation with the Divine

Did you ever consider how powerful that cup o’ Joe can be in the morning? It can give you the energy to start your day… and it can also give you a message from the Divine.

When you start working with different forms of divination, it’s important to keep an open mind. The messages that come through to you will not only be visual but also in thoughts and impressions that spring up when you settle into a relaxed, curious, meditative state, inviting the Universe to speak to you through whatever means it decides.

Back to my cup of coffee.

This morning, I decided to have a look into my coffee cup, to see what—if any—message my Higher Self wanted me to see.

    It had a doozy…

When I looked into my cup, I saw a castle in the woods fairly clearly. Do you see it?

    Reading Coffee Grounds
    What do you see?

As I contemplated this image, the song, Fortress Around Your Heart, from Sting popped into my head…

“The prison has now become your home.
A sentence you seem prepared to face…”

    Ouch Universe.

My four walls do feel like they have been suffocating me lately. I don’t feel like I have a lot of freedom. I often feel trapped, isolated, alone.

But it’s not only about me; it’s about the amount of freedom I give people around me as well. It’s about responsibility and shared responsibility. The princess/prisoner don’t lock themselves in the towers. Others lock them there.

It was a lot to think about after having only one cup of coffee, for sure.

So, how do you read coffee grounds that are left over in your morning cuppa?

    1. Set the intention of receiving a message from Spirit. This is the most important part of the process—opening yourself to whatever message coming to you in whatever form it does. Personally, I see a lot and I get messages from songs and snippets of information (clairvoyant, clairaudient).
    2. Look into the bottom of your mostly empty cup to see what is there. Do the coffee grounds and shadow of coffee represent anything to you? Look for people, animals, buildings and objects like books, keys, clothing.
    3. Lean into your intuition. What is your Soul saying to you about what is going on in your life? Are you working on any big lessons? Is this a new idea that you need to explore? Are there any updates, cues to upcoming celebrations, or warnings in the images?
    4. Tune into all of your senses. Are you feeling, seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling, or tasting anything (other than coffee) that gives you further information?
    5. Journal. Allow yourself not only to note what you see, but also to free-write so that even more messages can come up while you have your pen to paper.

Reading your coffee grounds can be an easy way to tap into your intuition and receive messages from your Higher Self or Spirit. Give it a try and share your experiences in the comments below!
