    Wild Daisies!
    Wild Daisies

I never, ever thought I was the gardening type. Now I have a yard and some plants and GAZING! This stuff happens!

I love my garden and all of the plants and trees that are in it! They are like family members to me: pets of sorts.

Everything is organic and chem free. Most of the time, we also work with plants that were given to us by friends and family members, and then we pass along starts to our neighbors.

My sage is so hearty and gorgeous – I make my own smudge sticks and am experimenting with sage tinctures so that I don’t have to burn the plants (my family doesn’t like it when I do). I’d also like to experiment with making my own essences.

Of course, we grow food for ourselves in the garden. Usually, I have more than enough zucchini to feed a small army, and also berries, apples, cherries, nectarines, pumpkins, spaghetti squash, cucumbers, peppers, and all sorts of spices and mints – and, of course, flowers!
