Thoth Tarot deck

As I am introducing myself and my practice to you, I feel like I should tell you a little bit about my favorite decks and why I love them so much.

The first deck I ever bought was the Crowley Tarot deck, and it remains a favorite of mine to this day. I love the artwork, I love the descriptions of the cards in the companion books, I love using this deck as a tool for introspection and growth. This deck is richly layered with symbolism – and I like that because it allows for intuition to have a prominent place in each reading.

Another favorite of mine is the Angel Tarot deck from Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. Actually, I have quite a few decks from Doreen Virtue and I love them all and use them frequently. I am a Certified Angel Card Reader™, and I adore working with angels and angel cards for a number of reasons. This is another deck that is rich in symbolism and a little bit more visually stimulating than some of the other decks you will find on the market. I love the simplicity and non-threatening images of these cards.

If you are a fan of stunning, artistic decks that are based on the Rider-Waite style, you will adore the Tarot Illuminati from Erik C. Dunne and Kim Huggins. This deck is just bursting with symbolism and rich, gorgeous imagery. Aside from the artwork, the cards are the perfect size for shuffling – even when you have small hands like I do. It’s a must-have for hobby and professional readers.

Of course, I will be adding to my collection – and some decks have come into my hands and gone out of them as well. There are a few that I have my eye on right now and can’t wait to add to my collection.

When you schedule a reading with me, we can always discuss which deck you would prefer to use, or you can leave that choice up to me.

With respect and light ~
